Honeymoon Hideaway -Adults Only Retreat

Beautifully hidden away cabin situated approximately 5 kms north of Harvey. Relax and hide away in our self-contained cabin in front of the log fire or sit on the decked balcony with a refreshing drink in hand and watch the variety of wild birds and sheep that roam the 90 tranquil acres. The cabin is out of sight so nothing can disturb you except for the sound of the nature. Please note -there is no oven, no wifi. 4WD is preferable for the steep driveway. Strictly adults only and no pets.

You won’t want to leave this charming, one-of-a-kind place. Nestled in the hills of Ferguson Valley with an abundance of spring water, and views of a 6 acre dam. Located only 2 hours from Perth, 5 minutes from Gnomesville and 15 minutes from Wellington Dam with the giant mural and Honeymoon Pool. Only about 10 minutes from the bike trails, there is plenty to do with several wineries and breweries in the area also. Bunbury, Donnybrook and Collie are all within 30 minutes away.

Kirup Cottage is a 98 year former forestry cottage with rustic charm and a few modern comforts. There are two king beds or a king and two singles - please specify your preference on booking, a bathroom and separate toilet. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped. Relax at home or explore the surrounding wineries, local pub, towns of the Blackwood River Valley region, bike tracks and hiking trails. Donnybrook is just 17km north for all your supplies.

We’ve done a Reno on the gazebo on the lake so you’ll be able sit down and enjoy a wine overlooking the water. You can take a dip in the lake , paddle the kayak or try your luck to catch a red fin. Take an morning /evening stroll around the orchard and vegie patch and visit the ponies and horses.

The cottage is cosy with a modern ensuite, a wood burning fire and spectacular views. Also suitable for solo adventurers, business travellers or couples with an infant.
