From OWLBEAR PROPERTIES, reconnect with nature in this cozy 1-room cabin located on 6 acres in the Smoky Mountains outside of Newport TN close to major tourist attractions like Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, hiking trails, rafting, fairs and more. It is only a 59 mile drive to Asheville, NC and only 24 miles to Hot Springs, NC. The cabin features amazing mountain views & a hot tub to sit back and relax in on the porch. The cabin sleeps a family of 4. The location is very private and quite charming.

Guest love the peace and the views here at our retreat. Enjoy a morning or evening in the hot tub, sun on the pool deck and swim in warm weather. Relax by the fireplace or fire pit (roast some s’mores). Walk the property to see the chickens, horse, donkey and goats. At our farm we love diversity, support all love, and don’t think that hate makes America great - if you don’t agree we may not be the destination for you. We have added a small chair that converts to a bed- we can squeeze 3 in.

A great location, convenient to historic downtown Greeneville, shopping, banking and fast food restaurants and only 25 miles from Hot Springs. Asheville is only an hour away. There is also trail access minutes away for hiking, biking and trail riding. Enjoy horseback riding at Meadow Creek Stables 8 miles away.

Relax at this peaceful place nestled next door to a tree farm. The views from the windows and covered carport patio are lovely. Gas grill is provided for your use. King bedroom and bedroom with two twin antique beds. A fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare your own meals. A comfortable living room with electric dual recliner couch and rocker allow comfort to view the outdoors or watch TV. Home has Wi-fi, two bathrooms, outdoor seating area. Washer and dryer are available.

We are situated in the middle so you can go either way without a lot of driving. This is an easy stop-over if you are traveling 81 and just need a sweet place to rest in your journey.
