Excellent spot for a quiet getaway in the woods! This is a recently renovated cottage with the most amazing view of Third Lake. Four bedrooms, six beds. 1.5 bathrooms. Included is the use of 2 pair of snowshoes, fire pit, bbq. The kitchen was recently renovated. Only 1.15hrs from downtown Halifax and still within HRM. Directly off a quiet paved, plowed road! Welcome to “Point Beithe” (birch point in Gaelic). This beautiful home sits on its own point surrounded by 180° of Mira River waterfront age. You will also enjoy access to your own small private island that is connected by a shallow sand bar. Sit out on the large deck or floating dock to enjoy the views of the river, launch kayaks, paddle boards, and swim. We have signed up for the strongest internet service offered in the area (Starlink). Cellular reception is not great in the area.

Pondville Beach Cottage

This historic cottage features 4 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. Walking distance to a Provincial Beach & pet friendly. Bbq provided. Explore the woods, walking trails, listen to the ocean waves. Climbing ropes, trampoline, free range chickens! Enjoy the fire pit, water view sauna! Like many homes on the island, this is a very old, rustic cottage with lots of charm and the most comfy beds. If you’re looking for a hot tub experience check out 'The fisherman's cottage' a short distance away.
