At home, this second story studio has extra space in the meditation loft, a full kitchen, fast internet, and projector for streaming. Forest Park trail is steps away, Sauvie Island and the historic Cathedral Bridge are 5 minutes by car, and 10 minutes to Slab Town and Alphabet District. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway on Vancouver Lake with a beautiful outdoor deck to enjoy the view. Enjoy the sunsets and the wildlife on the lake. Kayak, sail, paddle board, or canoe out your door. We have a six person barrel sauna available: fee. You will have access to our private pier & pickleball court. The ADU is above the garage with a private entrance, about 4 miles to downtown restaurants, parks, the waterfront, etc. House is on 1.5 acres. We have chickens & gardens.

Hidden Garden Cottage

This 850 sf. cottage is a century old but was completely updated 12 years ago with era-appropriate furnishings, giving it a period (and safe) feel. Breakfast goodies, art, books, and a woodstove make it cozy. It sits on half an acre so lots of room for kids . It's in SW Portland, minutes from downtown. It's quiet, great for working or vacationing. An outdoor fire pit and gardens make it unique. There's even a zip line for kids. Family gatherings also fine. (Note: There is a $60 fee per dog.)

The Overlook neighborhood is one of Portland's hidden gems. Quiet, tree lined, yet only a few minutes from all the action Portland serves up. Walk or ride to meals, brewpubs or shopping in the Mississippi and Williams districts. Hop a train (three blocks away) to all quarters. Or, to unwind, walk to Overlook or Mocks Crest parks for sweeping views of downtown Portland, Forest Park and the Willamette River. You'll love staying in our comfortable, beautiful classic Portland home! You can walk to several restaurants and bars. It has easy access to downtown Portland by taking the bus, which is 1.5 blocks away or the MAX, which is a 12 minute walk for easy access all over the Portland/Vancouver area. Downtown Portland is a 10 minute drive. The Willamette Valley wine country is about an hour's drive away as well as the beautiful Columbia River Gorge and majestic Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens!
