Explore nearby state and national parks on a scenic hike or paddle the St. Croix River by canoe or kayak—opt for a guided trip with local outfitters for extra ease. Stroll into town for a pint at the brewery, and don’t miss sampling gourmet cheeses and smoked meats at the Barnette County Dairy store.

About halfway between Duluth and Minneapolis, 7 miles west of I-35. Please inquire if you have a slightly larger group, we may be able to accommodate! An additional fee of $30/guest per night over 6 applies. Please note that per county regulations, only registered guests are allowed on the property. Other fun places & activities nearby: Osprey Wilds, Kettle River, Banning State Park, Grand Casino, Munger Trail (biking and snowmobiling). Lots of space for your boat &/or snowmobile trailer!

Large deck, firepit, grills, & fireplace (Oct-May). Hiking, skiing, ATV trails, casinos, and St Croix River nearby. Game room w/pool table, foosball, poker table, ping pong, air hockey, & more. Lake has sandy swimming area by the dock. Kayaks, canoe, & row boat. Ask about pontoon rentals. No light pollution=so many stars!

The whole group will be comfy in this spacious and unique spot in the pines. The overhead door is the only “garage” thing about it! There are plenty of activities in the area, or stay right on our nearly 15 acres of forested land to relax and walk or ride our trails through the trees. We’ve added a screen for the garage door opening. Now you can roll up the garage door to feel like you’re outside! The screen cords have been damaged so it will no longer retract, but works great down!

Our Nordic inspired A-Frame is known as the Stylle Hytte which is Norwegian for ‘Quiet Cabin’. Here you can take in 5 secluded acres of woods with trails winding down to the private riverfront. Only an hour north of the Twin Cities, enjoy modern conveniences like WIFI (60mbps), smart TV, complete kitchen, full bathroom, a bedroom and loft both with queen beds, a cozy living room with a real wood fireplace and an outdoor electric barrel sauna. Calendars are open 9 months in advance.
