The Alabama was first established as a hotel in 1867. She's gone through a few changes since then but was re-established as a boutique style art hotel in 2013. nThe hotel is owned and operated by Tassie locals with emphasis on creating an enjoyable, affordable and artistic space suitable for world travellers and inter state visitors alike. The Alabama offers something much more interesting than your standard hotel or motel because it is unique, sincere, a little quirky and a whole lot special.
