Anchorage Family Guesthouse

Our guest space is a 2 BR in-law unit on the downstairs level of our beautiful Alaskan log home. About 20 mins from the Anchorage airport, we are located on the Anchorage Hillside, known for its scenery, great hiking trails (including Flattop Mountain), and fabulous mountain and inlet views. We are minutes from the Old Seward Highway South-bound exit that leads to some of Alaska's best-known tourist hot spots including Girdwood, Seward, and Kenai Peninsula. Family friendly, we welcome children.

A peaceful retreat with views of Turnagain Arm, this amenity-rich house is nestled between Anchorage and Girdwood and offers a unique blend of wilderness and convenience. After a short 30-minute drive from the airport, guests can soak in the Alaskan quiet of Indian Valley, venture further inland into Chugach State Park, or proceed toward nearby Girdwood via 20-minute drive or peaceful walk/bike along the paved Bird to Gird Pathway. Super cozy house with a warm atmosphere. Lots of natural light, fully supplied kitchen, 1 bath. Nice deck. 330 square feet per floor, Perfect for a couple, but can accommodate 4. There’s a queen bed and two twin beds that share the upstairs floor, only separated by a curtain, so limited privacy, and a couch downstairs that folds out to a queen size bed. House is 3 stories with the 2nd and 3rd floor as the Airbnb, bottom floor is a separate unit. Backed up to the Chugach mountains for cozy feel

Sunshine Ridge View - Mountain Paradise - New!

Newly Remodeled! New Listing! Perched on a south facing ridge overlooking the Rabbit Creek Valley, you will be in one of the highest elevation homes in Anchorage. Only about 10 houses are higher up. The best views, incredible access to wilderness and trails nearby in Chugach State Park from the Glen Alps trailhead. Wildlife.. Moose, coyotes, lynx, bear, porcupine, wolves and snowshoe hare transit this property regularly. The meadow off the deck is an unofficial animal observation post.

Yurt Stay on Working Farm/Homestead in Hope.

Our yurt is located in the heart of the Chugach National Forest, about 2 miles from downtown Hope. This is a camping experience similar to a Forest Service Cabin. There is no power or water on-site, so plan to bring water/charged batteries/sleeping bags for your stay. Accessible by car, Resurrection Pass Trail or bike, we are ideally situated for biking/hiking Hope trails, fishing, or enjoying a rafting trip on 6-Mile Creek. Our homestead has a small working farm and is 100% off-grid.

Bridge Cabin, your own Alaska home by the creek

This rustic getaway is yours in entire privacy. Bear Creek runs right next to the cabin creating beautiful sounds of nature. You have an entire acre to yourself. The vintage fridge and antique wood burning stove set the perfect functional ambiance. Electric heat is provided, as well. The cabin has a microwave and an electric tea kettle. Note that the stove and oven are non-functioning and no kitchen supplies are provided. Running water is available across the bridge in the Wash Hut.

Relax at this rustic log cabin located in Hope, Alaska. Enjoy hiking, biking, rafting, and live music venues at this historic gold mining town. Easy to drive to or fly into the Hope airstrip just a few minutes walk away. The cabin is comfy and unique although it does NOT have running water and is serviced by an outhouse. The queen bed and twin bed are upstairs making the cabin unsuitable for persons with mobility issues and children. NO PETS AND NO CHILDREN UNDER 12.

The beautiful community of Hope is a two hour drive from Anchorage. Hope HUB offers summer and winter trails for hiking, biking and skiing. PILOTS: the runway is a 10 minute walk, tie down the saucer and ride our community beater bikes into town for food and music. The Hope HUB has great views of the surrounding mountains on both sides. Use our outdoor fire pit, stocked with wood. Meet Wally our resident walrus and enjoy a truly extraterrestrial experience.
