Historic Loblolly Lodge at Ratcliff Lake

The Loblolly Lodge was built by Frank Taylor as a gathering place for his family around 1940. Remodeled in 2018, it now boasts of all the modern conveniences for a great getaway. With 2400sf of indoor living space & a 640sf covered back porch there is plenty of space for several families. The Lodge is nestled on 11 private wooded acres adjacent to Ratcliff Lake Recreation Area in the Davy Crockett National Forest which offers fishing, swimming, picnicking, and hiking for a small entrance fee.

Designed for families or friends looking to relax and unplug along the water, 'The Whacky Shack,' a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation rental cabin offers serenity and entertainment on your Trinity getaway. The back deck and screened in porch offer wonderful views of the lake and property. Lake and 2 ponds for catch and release fishing. Trails throughout the property are great for hiking and exploring. The house has two master bedrooms, each with a private bath and very comfortable king size beds.
