The setting is active and social—perfect for guests looking to explore the Keweenaw. We live next door and are happy to help if needed!

New Studio Loft at Apple Acres Farm in Houghton

A cozy retreat nestled in the forest of the UP just minutes from downtown Houghton and the Keweenaw Peninsula. At the top of a wooded driveway, you'll be welcomed by our free-range chicken flock and possibly our cute little Nigerian dwarf goats. Our modern studio loft provides all the amenities you'll need for a memorable stay. Enjoy the private deck overlooking the gardens as well as a view of our heritage apple orchard and beautifully designed chicken coop/greenhouse.

Hancock Old Mining House (Duplex)

Upstairs half of duplex in Hancock. This mining era house was converted to a duplex somewhere along the way. The living space is completely private but there is a shared entrance with the lower unit on the front porch. Our co-host Shelby lives in the lower unit. This Airbnb listing not a luxury rental It's an old but clean, functional apartment that is ideal for one to two quiet guests. We purchased house in 2021 and lived in the lower unit until March of 2024.

COZY YURT in Houghton near MTU

This yurt is nestled in the woods on our 10 acre hobby farm. It's a cozy space perfect for two. Make sure to spend some time around the outdoor firepit, curl up with a book on the couch in front of the wood-pellet stove, and peek out one of the many windows as often as possible - we've spotted deer, fox, coyote, wolves, bear, turkeys, and more! You will also have the opportunity to interact with our dairy goats and chickens, if interested. No pets, please.

This studio space is all fresh and new, located in west Hancock. Parking is easily accessible with a ground floor entryway. Downtown Hancock and Houghton are just minutes away. Located near the Hancock beach. If you aren't a camper but enjoy the day activities come and stay with all the luxuries of home. Studio size kitchen and a king size bed. We just added a heater/ air conditioner that is adjustable by the guest. The feedback has been great!

"Copper Trails" Lovely Private Rental Unit

Easy access one bedroom unit in Dollar Bay. Right on the snowmobile trail, and convenient for all of the Copper Country’s activities: snowmobiling, skiing, biking, touring historical sites, Michigan Tech, etc. Entire upstairs of a detached garage. Private entrance. Well insulated for sound and comfort. Only 3 1/2 miles to Houghton/Hancock, and close to the airport. Trailer parking available. Crib and high chair available upon request.

Relax in front of the fireplace while you plan your day's adventure. **Parking is off-site in one of the lots across the street, for which you will be issued a free parking permit for your stay.
