Cozy Detroit Cabin

We purchased this cabin as our family's vacation home and wanted to share the peace and comfort it has afforded us with others. The home was built in 2005 in withstood the terrible fires that destroyed a large number of buildings in 2020. Thankfully our cabin survived and the town is rebuilding! The cabin located right off of Highway 22 across from Detroit Lake. The cabin is surrounded by trees on a quiet dead end road. Has heating and air conditioning, as well as high speed internet. *no pets

You'll love my place because of it's unbeatable location (and walkable distance) to everything Oregon City has to offer: food carts, brew pubs, restaurants, library, public elevator, shopping, cafes, parks, walking trails, family friendly activities, Willamette River, Oregon City TriMet Transit Center, Amtrak Train station, etc. Only 5 minutes drive to I-205, 25 minutes to downtown Portland, and 30 minutes to PDX airport! Inside has everything you need including a full kitchen and washer/dryer!

Tiny House in a quiet oak grove

Tiny House Guest Cottage one mile off 213 near Marquam. Remote, yet accessible. 10 minutes from Mt. Angel and Molalla. 15 minutes from Silverton. 18 minutes from Oregon Garden. Loft with King size bed and luxurious sheets. Two sofas downstairs can be converted into beds. Not suitable for children. Sit on the back patio in the evening and listen to owls, coyotes, frogs, and crickets. Dozens of species of birds. I am proud of the reviews guests have left; please read them for more info.

Entire Studio -Country setting, quiet and private

Studio has own entrance and is separate from the main house. Studio has its own private bathroom with a shower, and laundry facilities, electric heat in the winter. Air conditioning only in the sleeping area of the bnb in the summer. There is a food prep area with a large sink. There is no oven but several small appliances available for meal prep. Studio sits on 6 acres with nearby hiking trails or towns. Would be nice for the traveling contractor who needs a room for their current local job.

Cabin by the Santiam River, Recreation & Hwy 22

Located near Hwy 22 in Mill City (30 miles from I-5 & Salem) The cabin was the original home to the Charlie Stewart Family in 1949. Updated in 2022. It comfortably fits 2 adults & 1 child. Sofa bed is NOT recommended for adults. Private, the whole place is yours! No shared walls; our home is behind the cabin. Great for travellers, kayakers, and campers. Walking distance to parks, river, store, bar & grill. RV parking on request. EV charging available with advance arrangements only.

For whatever brings you to Oregon, stay at Mama J’s comfortable, peaceful, safe and convenient spot. Portland is just ten miles away, the closest beaches, Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood are all about an hour, and there are numerous hikes from the forest right down the street to Silver Falls and beyond. Enjoy a well appointed private guest suite on an operating Thoroughbred horse ranch bordering on the Cascade foothills close to both Silver Falls State Park and the Oregon Gardens. The tranquil setting affords plenty of opportunity to savor the views from your private deck. And while unsupervised schmoozing with the horses isn't allowed, if you'd like we'll be glad to introduce you to some of the herd. You can rub elbows with equine royalty - the offspring of two Kentucky Derby winners!

Cabin on The Rim

Take it easy at this unique and private getaway. This off the grid studio cabin is located just 10 minutes from Smith Rock and 10 minutes from Lake Billy Chinook. It is positioned on the edge of the Crooked River Gorge with breathtaking views of the canyon. Near the cabin is a trail head to a private hiking trail that takes the adventurer down into the canyon where the scenery is otherworldly. Enjoy a sunset with full cascade Mountain View’s, green pastures, and grazing horses.

The Cedar Bunkhouse

The Cedar Bunkhouse is a 340 sq. ft. tiny house located in central Mill City, less than 2 blocks from a launch site on the beautiful Santiam River. Along with a cozy, fun décor and all amenities, the Bunkhouse also has an outside kitchen and dining area that seats 15. A gas fireplace on the deck and wood fire ring invites evening dinner parties. We want to make you comfortable while you kayak, raft, fish and hike, or enjoy Giovanni's Pizza and Rosie's Café 5 minutes away.
