Footbridge Farm Cabin

Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

Sleep in a trailer, sleep in a boat! Super chill atmosphere on 3 acres with porch to enjoy. Hotel accommodations like air conditioning, heat, clean sheets, towels and coffee/tea but camping style. Cozy cabin & 1/4 acre pond. We're sure you’ll love this space as much as we do. Not suitable for children under 12, we strictly enforce no children or pets, and must be 21+ to book. Outdoor space, gas grill, gas fire pit. Fully stocked cabin, with breakfast items included for you to enjoy at your leisure.

First 2 guests pay base price, then 3rd thru 10th guests pay an extra 30.00 EACH. NO PARTIES on our farm. We live on property in a separate home. Tranquility & Vistas on the Farm in the Guest Barn

When you arrive at our 16 acre farmstead and enter the Guest Barn, you'll notice the construction materials which were salvaged from a nearby barn and corncrib. The timbers from these buildings were torn down, moved to our farm and rebuilt into a smaller “new” barn. It truly represents a real farm experience you can feel. While here, you'll slow down and enjoy the tranquility. Walk around the farm, make friends with a cow, watch barn kitties play, while gazing across the vast farm vistas.

The Legacy Stone House

The most unique stay in Winterset! Legacy Stone House AirBnB is a historic residence located one mile east of Winterset, Iowa. Built in 1856 during the Settlement Era of Madison County, it is one of nearly 100 stone houses built during that time in the area. Officially named the William Anzi Nichols House, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Convenient centralized location if visiting Madison County’s six covered bridges and two minutes from grocery, gas and dining.

Sunset View Ranch 5-Bedroom House

If you need a quiet and relaxing retreat, Sunset View Ranch is just the place. This 3-acre ranch is just what you need to get away from the struggles of life. Landscaping is pristine with plenty of room to roam, sightsee, and view. Snowmobiles are also welcome in the winter months. Plus, there's a small basketball court and fire pit. Sleeps 10 comfortably in 5 bedrooms and has 3 living rooms with fluffy couches. We also have a fully equipped kitchen, a fire place, and 2 full bathrooms.

CR Station Train Caboose

Enjoy the restoration of our charming and cozy caboose! Complete with all the amenities you'll need and more! Linens and towels, refrigerator, microwave, a double burner hot plate, dishes for cooking, barware for cocktailing, and even the original conductor's chairs to watch the sunset over the horse pasture. The Henhouse Retreat is a beautifully restored 2 bedroom home converted from an original henhouse on our property. With breathtaking country views out every window you are sure to find this country retreat relaxing and enjoyable with many things to do close by like fishing, hiking, and a bike trail. Cute little towns to explore or cuddle up with a book & enjoy relaxation that comes with a deep breath in the country. Come as a family, some couples, or a little getaway, this home sleeps 7.

Create and tell stories while sitting under the stars next to the crackling campfire. Do your morning yoga by the babbling stream. Hike the trails. Soak up the sun on the sandy beach while listening to the waterfall. Laugh and splash your kiddos in our pond. Beach chairs, sand toys, floaties, kayaks, and more.

Honeybee Cottage at Star's Hollow

Honeybee Cottage is located next to our own beach/lake & 140 acres of beautifully groomed public nature trails. It is creatively decorated & full of amenities, including a coffee/tea bar. Make use of the games/books/DVDs that are provided. Feed the cows, read a book on the beach, take a hike or mountain bike in the trails, nap on the porch, fish for bluegills in our lake, race the pig, skip rocks/canoe in the creek, have a bonfire (S'mores provided) & stargaze the evening sky!
