The 1,500 sq. ft. apartment is on the lower level of a 6,000 sq. ft. home with amazing views of Lake Norman and its own private entrance. The separate building in some of the pictures is a boathouse that holds lake equipment for your use and is not the apartment Please, No Smoking!

Nestled in a cove on Lookout Shoals Lake, Mallard Cottage is a small bungalow raised on piers to elevate it above ground level. This provides a special view of the lake that is as beautiful in the morning as the evening. Our yard is fenced with gates as we are pet and kid friendly. The exterior was updated in the past two years and the interior has just completed a full remodel....it is very fresh, open, and welcoming. The lake side has two large glass doors that give a full view from anywhere

We stock home w/ as many luxuries as possible to blow away any hotel. 2 Roku TV's, 6 beds (2 queen & 4 twin beds) that sleep 8. Washer/Dryer, fully stocked kitchen (full size fridge) 200 mb internet.
