Eli Reeves Cabin at Hobbyknob farm

This two story log cabin was originally built in 1820 by Eli Reeves, an Indiana furniture maker. In the fall of 2015 it was moved log by log to our farm and was restored to feel like you stepped back in time but with very special touches. If these logs could talk! The first word most guests say is "wow" and we worked hard to earn that. We set out to create something special that would stand out to share with guests. Come experience this piece of history and make some memories of your own.

Visit our colorful farmhouse cottage that looks out on Flat Creek and vintage barns just 11 miles to downtown Asheville. Access the house via charming foot bridge and short uphill walk (see photos) and relax on the deck, enjoying the views of the creek valley from your hammock swing.
