Suitable for 1-2 people as pull out couch has been damaged and no longer converts to a bed so only 1 queen bed available

Well appointed kitchenette with all the basics but no oven. Help yourself to lemons and fresh greens from the garden. BBQ and fish filleting table available by request. Plum cottage is a unique 120 year old washhouse conversion in a Bohemian Farm Chic decor on the outskirt of Kaitaia township. The cottage is on the edge of our working farm with views to our flower farm, vegetable gardens and plum orchard . The kitchen has microwave and small air fryer. BBQ undercover on deck and cooking utensils. Bathroom has shower, toilet and basin. Walking distance to local bar and grill, supermarket, Mitre 10 and the Warehouse , 3 min drive to kaitaia central.

RJ’s on Okahu

Keep it simple at this peaceful and central location in a rural setting only minutes to town & 15 mins to Ahipara. The sleepout is attached to our garage behind our house. A studio design, it has a small fridge, microwave, jug & toaster, cutlery and crockery. We can supply a bbq on request. The bathroom has a shower, vanity & toilet. There is a Queen bed & a large couch which can be made up to accommodate a 3rd person if needed. We have 2 dogs which we will contain and a cat.

Ahipara boasts a height of outdoor activities from surfing the points, fishing, surfcasting and beach walks with incredible sunsets.

A simple bach at the beach to relax and enjoy the view .Great location, awesome sunsets front verandah. Large fenced section .Sheltered bbq area out the back. Handy to Cape bus pickup. Great for families, couples or singles. Awesome spot. All beds made up and plenty of extra linen in the hotwater cupboard to help your self too. Lots of awesome walks handy.Apart from the beach Lake Ngatu is 5mins up the road with its DOC walking track around it.Also forestry/beach walks.

Ahipara Surf Breaks

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). We have easy access to the property with a lock up double garage plus off street parking (even for a boat). The beach is only a short walk from the house. We live in a house on the same property so we are always available to help with any questions you have. Surfboards and boogie boards are available for use free of charge.
