Plus, it's close to just about everything you need - UC Berkeley, Downtown Berkeley and BART, the Greek Theater, award-winning restaurants, and views at the Rose Garden.

Soak in the hot tub or have a drink on the deck and take in the stunning views of San Francisco and the Bay. Prepare dinner in a well-appointed kitchenette and dine inside in front of a best-in-class Dimplex electric fireplace/heater. Relax and enjoy company or watch TV in all-leather living room furniture. Luxuriate in our natural wood platform bed with a Casper memory foam mattress.

Soak up the Serenity from a Swing Seat at Claremont Cottage

Linger over a coffee in the zen, vine-covered courtyard at this secluded cottage nestled in the back of a period property in Berkeley. Crisp white sheets, craftsman furniture, and painted wooden cladding make for a sophisticated yet rustic haven. The main room is cozy with a big skylight, comfortable queen bed, swivel chair, and desk and chair. There is a small kitchenette. Your host family lives next door and will help you with anything you need during your stay.

On central bus lines to downtown Berkeley (2 m) and San Francisco (11 m), 1.1 m from Bart station. Includes dedicated parking spot. Host is available for any needs or recommendations.

Berkeley Hills Maybeck Cottage

Built in 1925, Maybecks' “Cubby” is your private, rustic, 750 sq ft, carriage house located less than a mile from Cal. Homey and basic - the deck is great for lunch, dinner, or just hanging out. It's an easy walk down to the gourmet ghetto, Thursday Markets, buses and BART. Carport provided, a car is recommended (hey it's located in the hills.) Not baby proofed, minimal fencing - sorry, no pets, babies or toddlers. Smoke free, no butts about it. Sorry, no loud music, or large gatherings.

We pay a 14% Transient Occupancy Tax to the City of Berkeley, registered under license# ZcSTR2017 number 76, which is included in the list price.

An open-concept, one-bedroom, 2-story home in University Uplands. Pleasantly tucked into Claremont Canyon. This home was built in 1969 and belonged to renowned architectural historian Spiro Kostof. It is a peaceful space tucked against the hillside, surrounded by nature. You’ll feel like you’re staying in the country, when in fact, you’re only 5 minutes away from UC Berkeley and BART, with easy access to San Francisco.

Private North Berkeley In-law unit

This completely private portion of our North Berkeley home is usually available only Fri, Sat, and Sun nights, except where otherwise indicated on the calendar. If you plan to leave on Monday, check out will need to be early (9:00am). We usually cannot be flexible on that as we use it for other purposes Mon-Fri most weeks.
