The house is surrounded by green and nature, but close to cute towns for shopping and dining and of course all the area has to offer with hikes and outdoor activities. Or stay in and lounge on the deck, listen to some records, watch a movie, and relax. It's everything you need for a dream vacation.

Little Minka - Japanese House in the Woods

Little Minka. A serene Japanese folk house nestled on 10 acres of private woodland and streams. Embracing the Wabi-Sabi, Little Minka is unique, handcrafted using Japanese traditional carpentry joinery methods. Soaring ceilings, shoji, and tatami complete the interior. Outside there's a fire pit, open cooking area. We have a wood fired hot tub available on request from March - November. We have Japanese bathroom products in partnership with sowakanyc that guests can experience.

Shawangunk House

The house was built in 2018. It is very modern and open. It is located 8 minutes from Minnewaska State Park, 10 minutes from the Mohonk Preserve, and 30 minutes from the Catskills. There is a Smart TV. There is also a record player with a large record selection. There is strong WIFI and great cell phone coverage from all carriers. We have an EV level 2 charger. There is an additional charge to use the charger. Please contact us if you want to add charging to your stay.

This 160-year-old farmhouse is super cozy in winter and can easily accommodate large groups but offers plenty of privacy. Sonos Bluetooth speakers are provided throughout the house, a Smart TV with all of your favorite streaming apps, a large collection of board games, and laundry facilities are all available for you to use during your stay.
