Solar lights, (we are off the grid) gravity fed kitchen water, gas-hot water outdoor shower, outhouse overlooking the forest. Hiking trails everywhere! Swimming across the road on Hobbs Pond. If you book in November, there is a possibility that if it gets cold, you will not have a hot outdoor shower and will use water from a 5 gallon ceramic container for drinking and cooking.

Perched atop the Lodge at Camden Hills property, it overlooks 80 miles of Penobscot Bay from Blue Hill out to Isle Au Haut and south to Vinalhaven. With access to the Camden Hills State Park trail system, you can walk out your door and go for a day hike, come back and enjoy the Finnish wood fired sauna. A full kitchen with coffee maker plus espresso machine makes mornings a cozy time to unwind and enjoy the view.

You can hear the soothing sounds of the tidal waterfall when the tide is changing. Swim from the private dock and enjoy the warm water or just lounge on the Adirondack chairs or hammock. We have 4 paddle boards that convert to kayaks, a dingy that accommodates 2-4, a corn hole set and a fire pit for your use.
