The perfect home away from home, Ruth’s Cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay in Ipswich, featuring a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms with firm queen size beds, dinning area and separate living areas. This light filled cottage has air-conditioning, high seed NBN internet access and is located a few minutes walk from the center of town and hospital precinct. Bedrooms are at opposite ends of the house for privacy. If less than two guests are booked and you need access to the 2nd bedroom or if the single bed is required a small additional fee applies. The Ipswich central train station and hospital can be accessed on foot easily from the cottage. Ipswich art gallery and civic center are a 3-minute walk away. Metered street parking is also available in front of the property. Ipswich Train Station is a 5 minute walk away with direct links to Brisbane CBD and airport. This is a very quiet street, especially at night time.

Our cottage accommodates 4 people. There is a comfortable lounge room, equipped with sofa bed and television and a separate bedroom with a queen size bed. There is a verandah to sit on at the table and chairs to take in the mountain air. The cottage has a bathroom and a small kitchenette. The kitchenette is complete with bar fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and tea and coffee facilities. All crockery and cutlery as well. Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage.

Currawong Cottage is located at picturesque Kobble Creek Cottages. It is situated on the highest point of the Kobblecreek property with breathtaking elevated views of the D’Aguilar Ranges overlooking 52 acres of native bushland abundant with native birdlife and wildlife. It lies approximately 10 minutes drive from the rural village of Dayboro, or 20 minutes from Samford Village. There are two other cottages on the property namely Wonga and Figtree cottage.
