The furnishings are appropriately rustic yet modern in every since of the word. Free, dependable, high-speed, fiber internet and a smart TV are just two of the recent upgrades. In winter enjoy the floor to ceiling stacked stone gas log fireplace. Hike to a mountain top or visit a rushing stream...all without leaving the property.

We purposely tucked the cabin high up against the mountainside to achieve the most incredible view! Evenings around the Fire pit w/the stars are simply magical! Guests come to hike the Appalachian trail, whitewater raft the Nantahala River, and to just rest in an amazingly cozy & romantic mountain cabin with a hot tub and view of a lifetime.

Pictures do not do this little peace of Heaven justice. It is so adorable, with 20 ft ceilings it is very spacious and open. The wood burning fireplace makes it for very cozy evening along with the firepit outside and a little soak in the Hot tub to finish off a great night.This little gem is centrally located in Nantahala with tons of activities, such as fishing, hiking, rafting, boating and skiing on Lake Nantahala. The hot tub is located on the deck overlooking the beautiful Mountain View. We are just 20 minutes away from Bryson City and the Nantahala Outdoor Center, 10 minutes from Tsali Recreation, 25 minutes from the Smoky Mountain National Park, Cherokee and The Blue Ridge Parkway. Mateo 39A at Nantahala Weddings - pets allowed

Pets allowed. $75 pet fee per pet. $150 penalty if you fail to indicate number of pets via "Guests" drop-down menu when you book. The Mateos are 4 small bungalows with eye-popping views of Lake Nantahala and the Smoky Mountains through an 8-foot sliding glass door. Each Mateo has a queen size bed, private bath, ac/heat, and a kitchenette with a Keurig coffeemaker, refrigerator with freezer, air fryer, microwave, tableware, and glassware for two. The Mateos are not handicap-accessible.
