As you turn onto Thatcher Mill you'll feel the comfort of this mountain retreat. Your tranquil drives ends at this 12 year old home that we call our cabin. It's well built and sits off the road a bit and invites you to relax and enjoy what the Lake McCumber /Mt Lassen community has to offer. The sounds of silence radiates through the trees and gives that sense of calm we all wish for in our daily lives. Once inside you find it a comfortable stay. Backyard is awesome! Stay another day!

Take a walk down to our private beach on the Feather River, or play a game of disc golf, horseshoes, corn hole and others. Read a book from our Tree Library while you enjoy your private propane fire pit and bbq… Nearby, rent an e-bike in Quincy. Visit lakes, fire trails to hike, quad, bike, or horseback ride. And best? The town of Mineral is a small island of private cabins surrounded by a sea of National Forest and National Park lands. An adventurer's dream. You could walk out the backdoor of the cabin, into the forest, and arrive at the Lassen Visitor Center without crossing a single paved road, or seeing another human. Just bears.
