We have been visiting the Poconos for a number of years. Finally, we had decided to move there permanently…haven’t looked back since. This area is everything outdoorsy kind of people can look for – so much to see and do! As far as the chalet, we have been told by multiple groups that the kitchen is very well-stocked. The place is prepared with the intention of making it a themed, cozy, affordable, and above all clean place where our guests can enjoy themselves, no matter where they come from.

Please read through our house rules before requesting to book. Our house is not suited for prom, bachelor, bachelorette, or any other type of parties. Our cozy mountain retreat is located in the Estates, a short walk to the lake but far enough from the main road to provide a quiet woodsy experience. Wake up in the A-Frame Chalet to view trees and sky, jump in the lake, play tennis on the nearby courts, drive a short distance to ski slopes or unwind at the many nearby bars and restaurants.

A Pocono Mountains retreat in Emerald Lakes. Black Bear Chalet is a cozy, family & dog friendly cabin which is close to Camelback, Kalahari, & Pocono Premium Outlets. Cozy up to the wood burning fireplace in the living room, firepit outside, enjoy some family games upstairs in the loft or prepare that delicious meal in the well equipped kitchen. Community amenity passes are available for purchase to enjoy the indoor & outdoor pools and beaches. Interior Christmas decor starting Dec 7th.
