Hungry Hippie Hostel now has Camping + Glamping! Our canvas wall tents are waterproof and super cozy! Our version of Glamping includes: the 8'x16' tent, decking (with screened in porch), comfy mattress and breathtaking views of Lake Superior. Also included- a campfire ring + picnic table at each of our glamping sites. Tents are located within 200 feet of our brand new shower house. The shower house is divided into mens & womens spaces. Each space having two showers, three toilets and two sinks.

Twisting Twig Gardens and Orchard Wall Tent

Our wall tent offers a sweet retreat in the woods about 10 miles outside of Bayfield. We are located on a small working organic farm with vegetable and perennial gardens, apple trees, and rustic accommodations. We are located near Lake Superior and are about 6 miles from Meyers Beach in the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. Our property is located on 40 acres and has a distant, but beautiful view of Lake Superior. We are on the edge of thousands of acres of county land. The perfect escape!

Will only rent this camping site if the cabin isn't booked for your privacy. You have access to a picnic table, fire pit with grill, chairs and outhouse, you can also use the screened in porch and couch in the cabin! Provided water jug for dishes and also run an extension cord for power. Private driveway off highway 17 makes this a great choice!

the Nest at Pinecrest Northwoods

Relax under the pines at this beautiful, rustic site in our 16' bell tent we call The Nest. When you approach you will see a hammock and firepit illuminated by string lights. Inside you will find a queen bed with plenty of blankets to keep you warm as well as campfire cooking essentials and a chair to sit in. All around you will find excellent fishing, hiking, hammocking, birdwatching, and plenty more activities to enjoy on the property.

Tent Site on 3.5 Acres of land w/ a Milky Way View

Beautiful open campsite available on my property. Conveniently located near a small village and 5 lakes within 10 miles. Bring your own tent, any size allowed. Pets allowed. Firewood and a fire pit are both available on the property. There is also a full bathroom available as well with a hot water shower and toilet. No rules, just have fun and respect the environment and land! Welcome to the U.P. of Michigan!

Forest Stargazer

Relax in a unique clear top tent, allowing for stargazing, aurora viewing or just watching the trees blow in the wind. These eco tents are waterproof and stormproof. There is room for 4 guests in the two full sized beds. There's a small coffee table inside and a pic-nic table and food prep table outside. Water and restrooms are available near the lake - a short distance away from the private tent.
