Relax in your own private luxury hot tub attached to the large cottage deck. Experience the unique outdoor rainfall shower, explore the lake with provided kayaks, hike the private trail to a water cascade & finish the day unwinding under the stars while having a lakeside bonfire! Modern relaxed lake front home with floor to ceiling windows giving you amazing waterfront views. Open bright layout with wood burning stove in the living room to warm up on chilly evenings. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven and stove. Master bedroom has a king size bed with ensuite washroom. Second bedroom has queen size bed and third bedroom has 2 twin beds. There is also a main washroom with bathtub and shower. High speed fiber optic internet is available.

The simple, yet upscale layout, is comforting on the eyes & mind. Its adventurous setting, fitted with its unparalleled views, will conjure up excitement when you arrive. A boulder-studded wall rises up towards a stone walkway, which is fitted with an integrated fire pit. The outdoor hot tub & seasonal outdoor shower are located next to the cottage deck.

Welcome to “Point Beithe” (birch point in Gaelic). This beautiful home sits on its own point surrounded by 180° of Mira River waterfront age. You will also enjoy access to your own small private island that is connected by a shallow sand bar. Sit out on the large deck or floating dock to enjoy the views of the river, launch kayaks, paddle boards, and swim. We have signed up for the strongest internet service offered in the area (Starlink). Cellular reception is not great in the area.

This 200-year-old Acadian home blends rustic charm with modern comforts. Most Cape Breton attractions are between 45 minutes and 2 hours from us — ideal for scenic day trips while enjoying peaceful waterfront evenings. Don’t forget the hot tub, kayaking, clam digging, fishing off the wharf, and nearby hiking. Includes excellent internet, BBQ, washer/dryer, linens, and most condiments. Now with Outdoor Private Hot Tub!! This tranquil four season cottage is located Big Pond, Cape Breton. Simple but extremely comfortable our second home has all the amenities you will need for a relaxing getaway! Fully equipped kitchen with open-concept, cozy living room. Two double bedrooms and a full bathroom are on the second level. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening nightcap on the master bedroom balcony. A sunroom on the main floor completes this welcoming cottage.

Fall asleep to the sound of the ocean by our peaceful home. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, our home offers you and your loved ones an opportunity to get away and enjoy some downtime. Spend your days enjoying peaceful beach walks and evening camp fires under the stars. We have a fully outfitted kitchen and bathroom with everything you need, and our sofa pulls out to accommodate extra guests for those game nights that run into overtime.

The Worn Doorstep - Queen Suite

Save $$ on longer stays! Air-conditioned suite with private entrance on the lower level of a family home. Including, a queen-sized bed and ensuite bathroom, refrigerator, microwave, coffee/tea facilities, and toaster. There is a shared barbeque for guest use. Check-in instructions will be sent via the Airbnb app. Please read carefully prior to your arrival. **We live on main floor so foot traffic and our dogs may be heard. Only 1 parking spot per room.**
