There are kayaks, a paddleboard and lots of floaties available for use. The kids will love the large beach area and catching sunnies, crappies and bass right off the dock. PLEASE BE AWARE, there is a cabin directly next to this one on the north side, that we share a driveway with.

Perfect for a family getaway. Located just a short drive from nearby towns of Ottertail and Battle Lake and just a short walk to 1910 Sip House (Ages 16+ from May 1-November 1, no exceptions). Close to Balmoral, Thumper Pond and Oakwood golf courses, Glendalough State Park, and snowmobile trail 263.

Treehouse (LOTR) Stargazer Skycabin

Our LOTR themed treehouse, along with our LOTR Wizard's Cottage, have been described as a "love letter to Tolkien himself." We have been featured on PBS and WJON radio. A manager lives on the acreage, about 200 ft. from the Wizard's Cottage and very far from the treehouse, which is located on the back part of the acreage. It has a fenced-in portion that makes up the Shire Garden. Down the hill is our nod to Mordor. Feel free to visit and dare to open the "Mor Do(o)r."
