We are located 10mins from Michaelhouse and 30mins from Midmar Dam. Relax in the peace and quiet of nature, walk along and fish the lovely Mpofana River and explore the small home stores and activities of the Midlands Meander from this peaceful haven. Easy access to local wedding venues, Michaelhouse School and local Midlands Meander attractions.

Beautiful Breeze Cottage sits among the stunning hills of the Dargle Valley. It overlooks 3 tranquil dams, rolling pastures and an indigenous forest. There are cattle and horses in the fields, abundant bird life to enjoy and peacefulness to breath in. It's the perfect place to recharge while escaping the pressures of city life and with the Midlands Meander on our doorstep you can be as busy or as quiet as you choose. The farm is now fully off Eskom power so load shedding is a distant memory.

Forest Falls Treehouse

Enjoy the serenity of nature on the edge of the Umgeni Valley. Conveniently placed less than 10 minutes away from Hilton Village. This is no normal cottage. Our Forest Falls Treehouse is built at the confluence of two streams. Perched amongst trees, birds are constant visitors while shy nyala often make an appearance. This self-catering cottage can be reached after a short walk in an indigenous forest down steep stairs built into a cliff face. Meals can be purchased through prior arrangements.

We have alternate power supplies to cope with load-shedding, and our water comes from a borehole sois competely safe to drink.

The beautiful farm cottage has great views across the rolling lawns looking over the horse paddocks down to the rumbling river. The sound of the river which can be heard from all parts of the cottage is so therapeutic. At night the fire place creates a cosy atmosphere. There is plenty of space to run around in the garden and a jungle gym for children. On the eastern side of the farm are great cycling and running trails. There are 2 small bass dams and you can fish in the river
