Unwind on the porch swing or hammock watching wildlife. Important: Driveway is dirt/gravel with small hill—drive slowly. Winter (Dec–Mar): AWD or 4x4 required. No TV/WiFi for true relaxation. Conveniently located along Business 220 two miles from the Pennsylvania Turnpike and I-99, 7 minutes from route 30, and 5 miles from downtown Bedford, PA. Located in the rear of a warehouse occupied by a non-profit. Sleeping arrangements include two bedrooms with queen size beds. Roku TV (no cable or local channels) & DVD player. Full kitchen, laundry & bath.

Escape to nature in a cozy glamping pod, offering the ideal mix of comfort and adventure in a peaceful setting. Each pod features a queen-size bed, a mini kitchenette with a coffee maker and microwave, and a dining table for two. Pods are equipped with heating and cooling, electricity, and WiFi. Though there's no bathroom inside, our luxury bathhouse with private stalls is just a short walk away and visible from your pod.

Comfort and Convenience

We have extensively remodeled this special home and brought it forward from the 1960s while maintaining its character, including the original wrought iron railing and open vaulted living room. We've also incorporated some elements of Altoona's history into the home. It's the perfect cozy and welcoming space to rest and relax whether traveling for work, visiting family, or exploring the beautiful surrounding area.
