It is a great place to start your northern journey or a base for your trip to Tiritiri Matangi Island wildlife sanctuary. It is minutes to many local beaches, ten minutes to Gulf Harbour and 10 - 15 minutes to Orewa and the motorway.

The shops, supermarkets , cafes, restaurants/bars, take aways and fast foods are 1km walk. Included in your stay is the unlimited use of canoes and paddle boards- life jackets provided. Being a 200 meter short walk to the Silverdale shopping centre, many local restaurants and cafes, and all other facilities makes this an ideal location for a traveller to rest and recoup. You may also get out to explore Millwater, Stanmore Bay, the Silverdale Village and activities of Orewa beach.
