Artist’s Eco Cabin - The Nest

The Nest is privately located overlooking our farm & highlands. It's rustic & glamorous with small touches that make it unique. The Nest sleeps four (second bed is a double futon) & has full cooking & washroom facilities. It's equipped with a wood stove, fridge, BBQ, & solar lights. The outdoor washroom in the pines offers both an on-demand hot shower (summer only) & a composting toilet. The farm has plenty of activities for our guests to enjoy. N.S. Light and airy guest suite attached to main level of our family home. Small private patio off the back of the suite and parking in front. There are no shared spaces in the suite. All dishes, linens, kitchen supplies and shampoo/soap is provided. Kitchenette for simple meal prep. Please bring your own coffee. Full bathroom w/ walk-in shower. Private BBQ and yard with screen tent. Cottage driveway is steep but well maintained; no bikes, please. Muted traffic noise may be noticeable at times. No dogs.

It is half way between Baddeck and Sydney and a perfect spot for anyone travelling the Cabot Trail. Firewood provided for fire pit if the burn ban is not in effect. Kayaks are available to use at your own risk, with life jackets, and if you are experienced in paddling.
