The Bread House in Silver Plume

Stay in a living ghost town! The Bread House is one of the original houses in Silver Plume, dating back to the 1880s. Recently remodeled, it's been brought back to life and we'd love to share it with you. The Bread House is a quiet, two-story house with plenty of space to spread out. We thoughtfully remodeled the space to create a serene and elevated atmosphere. The cabin is a 5 min walk to the St. Mary's Glacier trailhead and a 25 min drive to downtown Idaho Springs. Christmas In The Mountains!

This is the 1st floor walkout of our home. It has its own entry and there is no shared space with us. We occupy the upper part of the house. This is the most beautiful location in the area. We have an outstanding view of the ten mile range and Lake Dillon. It is breathtaking. Our decor is modern with mountain luxury in mind. We have 2 bedrooms with 3 extremely comfortable king beds. Secluded, well-appointed cabin right on Tarryall Creek, with wifi, more than 5 acres of solitude, and 360-degree mountain views. This is our dream place to escape, unwind, and listen to the creek. It's remote and quiet, but accessible year-round: 2 hours from DIA, 1.5 hours from downtown Denver, and 50-mins from Breckenridge. Large kitchen (w/ fridge and antique stove), barnwood accents, huge 400sf deck, and historic decor from Como's gold rush. Dogs welcome, too.

If you’re looking for fancy, this isn’t the cabin for you. It is VERY clean, but not updated/renovated. No pets allowed.

This charming, open layout and sunshine filled log cabin is at 10,200 ft in St. Mary's, yet only one hour from Denver. The ceiling to floor windows offer amazing views of Chief Mountain and Mt Evans and are enjoyed from inside the cabin and on the deck. Hiking, biking, fishing, snowshoeing and so much more are accessible from the front door. The neighborhood is very quiet and offers a very relaxing place to kick back and enjoy the view.
