Farm Stay at Panther Branch with Sauna

Take it easy at our beautiful cabin in Hot Springs, NC surrounded by nature and farm animals. Panther Branch Farm spans 30 acres of mountains, streams, waterfalls, and hiking trails. On our small farm we have chickens, bees, goats, and alpacas that love to be hand-fed. Originally a pole barn workshop, the cabin has been expanded into a peaceful retreat built with local lumber. Unwind in our outdoor spa with sauna and a spring bath or simply relax and take in the serenity of the National Forest.

Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

The Nest, a mountainside retreat

The Nest is tucked into a grove of hemlocks, high above the creek and valley below. All types of vehicles have made the trek up the driveway, but we recommend 4-wheel drive. The seclusion of The Nest is unmatched and this tiny modern marvel comes with all you ask for, and so much more. Less than 25 min to downtown Asheville and minutes from the quaint mountain towns of Marshall and Mars Hill. Enjoy activities like hiking, skiing, and zip lines. You have access to our quaint farm, so spend your morning hiking, fishing, and meeting the animals! With just a quick drive, you can adventure to surrounding towns to experience the culture of WNC before returning to your private, peaceful sanctuary. Wind down for the evening with Biltmore wine or some local craft brews. Fully stocked for pups, too!

Appalachian Rainforest Oasis

Your own private mountain retreat, close enough to Asheville to enjoy its amenities but far enough to feel remote. Nestled within a 60-acre private reserve in the heart of the Pisgah National Forest, offering you the best of both worlds. Bordered by two trout streams and an immense network of trails right on your doorstep. After a day of adventure, relax and rejuvenate in our hot tub with a glass of wine, surrounded by the tranquil sounds of the nearby streams.

Cabin Kisa

This cabin was constructed by hand in 2019 and is designed with both style and calm in mind. It is a perfect place for artists and writers to find inspiration or for guests who want to connect to nature by simply waking up with the trees. The cabin is a BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ safe space, partly functions as an informal artist residency space for our friends and comrades and guests who stay will find it more as a home environment instead of a hotel.

Rustic Royce Lodge - DOG FRIENDLY / FENCED YARD

Enjoy this magical Appalachian sanctuary at the Rustic Royce Lodge. The Lodge is a private oasis boasting two private bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, a large fenced-in back yard for your pups, and a fully screened-in front porch. Enjoy a coffee or local craft beer in the backyard of the Lodge while your pup frolics the yard or on the front porch while savoring the nature that surrounds the home.
