Come and see our cabin nestled in a secluded location that is within close proximity to recreational activities and restaurants that will surely please a couple or an entire family. You can enjoy horseback riding trails nearby, hiking trails, golf courses, local parks, and fine dining or a cozy campfire in the evenings to end your day with story-telling and laughter that will last for many years. There is excellent cellphone service, and centrally located between Charleston and Huntington, WV.

In the past our Cellar House was home to canned garden vegetables, potatoes, and apples. Today up to 2 guests can enjoy their relaxing farm visit in the newly renovated yet rustic upper room. Hiking on property, campfire area, fishing in our Spring Fed Pond. Located near Elk River State Park for a day of Biking, river swimming, & Kayaking. Drive the back road to New River National Park for an adventure. This room is set up for a short visit or a long stay. Hot homemade fresh breakfast incl!

The Overlook @ River's Edge Bed & Breakfast

Nestled in the trees high above the water, the Overlook Cabin offers a peaceful, comfortable, and intimate experience of the Ohio River, with a large riverfront window, 8x12ft deck, & jacuzzi bath. This cabin is rustic and small but super cozy! It's comfortable with a queen size bed, a wood burning stove, air conditioning, fridge freezer, coffee, creamer & sugar provided, a smart tv & more. The creek runs in front of it and is literally up against a mountain, surround by mountains. This cabin is located right beside the shower house. There are beautiful hiking trails, a coal mine is a short hike away and a secret wilderness chapel. Enjoy some simple time up & away from town life.

Experience the serenity of West Virginia in a beautiful cabin, less than 5 minutes from Summersville Lake. It is perfectly situated, with the feeling of being in the woods while still located near all town's amenities. Summers offer close access to outdoor adventures like fishing, hiking, rafting, biking and so much more. Winters are peaceful and cozy in the cabin surrounded by snowy mountains. There is ample parking for larger groups. We do have Wi-Fi and decent cell coverage!
