Situated on a hillside overlooking the historic St. Ann’s bay, the Old Trail cabin is conveniently located just 5.5km from the start of the Cabot trail and the Gaelic College. A great spot to start or finish your Cabot Trail adventures! The cabin is designed to feel as open and airy as possible for a small space. The bedroom has a queen bed and the loft has a single bed. Kitchenette has coffee maker, toaster, mini fridge and microwave. All amenities needed are only 15 mins away in Baddeck.

This is the perfect spot to simply relax yet have all the possibilities to adventure close by.

Sit on the deck to drink your morning coffee or watch the sunset. There is also a campfire area, picnic table and a barbeque. Appeals to leave-no-trace campers who look for stays off the grid! 2 night minimum long weekends only. If you’re joining us in the summer we are only 1.5min from east bay sand bar an amazing beach and 3min from the walking trails:) complete with fire pit and large back deck.
