This home is locally referred to as "The Lodge." It is loaded with rustic charm and tons of trophy mounts, including a full-size gator rug. This house is spacious and yet cozy all at the same time. This home is located in the Ocala national Forest and yet only a half a block away from the park, which includes basketball, volleyball, tennis, softball, shuffleboard, and corn Holes. The caregivers live close by and are very friendly and helpful when needed. NO pets allowed on property.

Conveniently situated in the Ocala National Forest, this rustic cabin is surrounded by graceful live oaks and is often visited by wildlife like deer, bear & sandhill cranes. Paddle the Silver River or snorkel the springs. Great fishing is around the bend. Note: Historic drought has lowered our lake levels significantly. The lake is currently dry infront of the cabin.

River Retreats Escape/Angler’s Paradise

Country setting, FREE use of the Kayaks and golf cart, or take the kayaks to Rainbow River, my place is on the “Withlacoochee River” so you would put in at the neighborhood ramp and paddle North to get to the Rainbow River. The KP Hole and Rainbow Springs State Park are 10-15 min away. You can bring your own boat, “there is a boat ramp in the neighborhood”, and local ramps in town. Relax by the fire in the evening. Peaceful, quiet and only 10 minutes from town for shopping and dining.
