Eli Reeves Cabin at Hobbyknob farm

This two story log cabin was originally built in 1820 by Eli Reeves, an Indiana furniture maker. In the fall of 2015 it was moved log by log to our farm and was restored to feel like you stepped back in time but with very special touches. If these logs could talk! The first word most guests say is "wow" and we worked hard to earn that. We set out to create something special that would stand out to share with guests. Come experience this piece of history and make some memories of your own.

Rising House is located just behind and above our cozy Barnardsville home, a spacious eco-conscious guest house with private, handcrafted cedar sauna. Nestled between two beautiful mountain ranges with a gorgeous creek that you can hear anywhere on the property. Just outside of Asheville, this getaway is perfect for couples or small families. The bungalow is located in the woods but is conveniently located close to (5 mins) the interstate, shops, and grocery stores. It is fully equipped with a full kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom, a front porch overlooking the neighboring pasture, an outdoor fire pit, and toasty gas logs. Enjoy a coffee or local craft beer while unplugging from everyday life and listening to the native wildlife.
