This cozy bungalow (225 sq.ft.) is situated on 6 acres of redwood forest within walking distance to the coastal village of Trinidad and 30 minutes drive to the tallest trees in the world, amazing hiking trails and the rugged beaches of the Northern California coast. Immerse yourself in the glories of the redwood forest around an evening fire under the stars. The Bungalow is private, freshly remodeled, clean and comfortable with beautiful afternoon light, shaded in the morning for sleeping in.

This incredible space has been the inspirational hub for designing the most creative projects in Humboldt during the past 18 years. Now it has been reborn as an immersive space to enjoy the redwoods. Every inch has been thoughtfully designed to allow our guests to feel the enveloping majestic nature of the surrounding forest. Upon arrival, a golf cart awaits for your journey through the woods, to the upper landing of the raised boardwalk crossing over a seasonal creek bringing you to The Studio.

Or hop on the Highway 1/3 mile away. 3.5 miles to Airport, 30 to Redwood National & State Parks. We’ll share walls so you’ll sometimes hear me, though I try to be a considerate neighbor. Get cozy in the living room at the push of a button with the gas fireplace and Smart TV. Sleep soundly on either the king or queen-sized bed. If you have extra people I can provide an air mattress. Walk from your door to Cal Poly Humboldt, the Arcata Plaza, and Shay Park. A wonderful home base.
