This is a Turn of the Century Victorian Home. It was built in 1900, we are the 3rd owners. It has been well loved and given a new look. It is our desire to share this with unique space with everyone. You will have a warm and inviting space to relax in. Upgrades include an extensive water filtration system and thermostatic shower controls. This beautiful lower-level private apartment is the perfect place to stay while enjoying a visit to Mount Vernon. Historic county owned owl Preserve & Farm House

Two Horse Farm is an 83-acre park which was a family farm in the 1900s. Several original buildings on site immerse the visitor in that history. From the time you turn onto the long private drive winding through the woods up the hill to the beautiful historic home, you will feel the stress of daily life fade away. Following Johnson County Conservation's purchase of the property a 7-acre circle in the center of the property was donated to the Iowa Tribe of Nebraska and Kansas.
