The Dome Home

We are nestled in the heart of apple country surrounded by orchards and only 10 minutes from Pine Grove Furnace State Park and 25 minutes from Gettysburg. Our Dome Home is unique and cozy with all the comforts of home. Enjoy the sounds of nature as you disconnect from the busyness of the world relaxing on the back deck. Our recently remodeled home has plenty of kitchen space and utensils to cook most any meal and is fully furnished. Two full baths with towels provided and WIFI is available.

Sweet Gettysburg Area Cottage Close to Outdoor Fun

Off the beaten path but close to it all, including historic Gettysburg, the Appalachian Trail, Caledonia State Park, and Michaux State Forest. Relax on a large screened-in porch, in the shade of our pines or on the banks of a mountain creek. Access your own streaming accounts through our TV/wifi. Great restaurants are nearby, or make use of our original 1950s efficiency kitchen and dine al fresco. You’re surrounded by wineries, farm markets and even a candy store. Central location to do it all!

Ideal for couples, hikers, and adult groups, Angled Pine is a favorite for romantic getaways, anniversary stays, and girls’ weekends. The hardest part of staying here is choosing between the creek, fire pit, or decks as the woods grow dark. Bordering Michaux State Forest and beside Mountain Creek, this A-frame is made for relaxation. Wake to birdsong, hike or bike nearby trails, then return to warm pine and twinkling lights. Appalachian Trail and Pine Grove Furnace State Park are minutes away.

Bear Mountain Getaway

Mountain cabin that sits on 2 1/2 acres of private woods. Very quiet and peaceful retreat with a beautiful view of mountain woods. Newly remodeled full kitchen, dining room, two bedrooms, bathroom with shower, landline, WIFI . Enjoying the beautiful view on the deck area and out door fire pit. Road is not paved but well maintained. Close to Historical Gettysburg National Battlefield, hiking and fishing. I allow a pet under 30 lbs. with a fee of $ 20 per night. This must be paid at booking.

The White Pines Cabin

Escape the hustle of everyday life at our cozy cabin in the woods. Step in and experience the wonderful smell of the white pine shiplap walls. The White Pine Cabin is the perfect getaway for couples, friends, retreats, and families with older children. Just a few minutes from the beautiful Michaux State Forest, 20 minutes from Shippensburg University, and 30 minutes from Historic Gettysburg. This home is not equipped for small children due to the large open staircase.

Our cabin is located on a private stoned road. Very quiet and remote location. Keep this in mind when booking. 25 minute drive to downtown Gettysburg, 40 minutes to Carlisle Fairgrounds. Near Michaux State Forest, Pine Grove Furnace State Park and Caledonia State Park; many hiking, ATV and snow mobile trails. For those that enjoy skiing we are 30 minutes to Liberty Mountain in Fairfield and 50 minutes to Roundtop Mountain in Lewisberry.

Brookside Lane Getaway is located 6 miles from the heart of Gettysburg giving you a peaceful place to relax from your day! The Getaway is an apartment above our 2018 single family home where you have free parking and private entrance and stairway to your space! The apartment gives you a spectacular view of our 130 acres of farmland and wooded areas.

Full A-frame cabin for your adventures in Michaux. A peaceful basecamp on a small lake with fishing dock. Close to everything Michaux State Forest and Pine Grove Furnace State Park has to offer, plus nearby Gettysburg, Shippensburg, and Carlisle.
