We are within 2 blocks of the historic Mesilla plaza with its farmers market, shops, galleries, restaurants, and walking trails along historic acequias (canals).

This spacious & quiet casita is very close to popular hiking trails and feels remote while being less than 15 minutes from I-25, NMSU, and both hospitals. Our guesthouse is located on historic Highway 28, also known as the Don Juan de Onate Trail, which connects El Paso and Las Cruces. It is one of the area's most scenic routes. You can find breweries, multiple wineries, and the famous Chopes restaurant and bar along the route. The highlight of the 10-mile drive from our little house in San Miguel to historic Mesilla takes you through unique canopies of pecan trees, in the largest pecan-producing county in the nation.

Less than 50 feet from the door of Casa Majik is a trail leading to "A" Mountain. Parking is for a maximum of two cars on the property. Restaurants and Memorial Hospital are 2 miles away.
