The Nest at Camp Skoglund

Sitting 125 feet from the east shore of Echo Lake is the Nest at Camp Skoglund. A cozy cottage for two with all of the amenities you will need. Your deck provides a wooded view of the lake and we offer a fully equipped waterfront for your relaxation and fun on the water. A fire pit is also available. If you need lodging for more than 2, please inquire about our other cabin, Pop's (also on AirBnb). We are open seasonally starting in early June until Columbus Day or later depending on the weather.

Plenty of room for a group to gather or spread out. Outside, launch one of the kayaks or the canoe, fish off the dock, watch the sun set over the water, or just sit and listen to the quiet.

Surrounded by woods, the only sound at night is from the loons on the lake.. There are two kayaks and a canoe available to explore the lake or paddle up to "Scapes" Cafe for breakfast or lunch. With over an acre of land and 250 feet of waterfront, there is plenty of room to play in the water, on the lawn, or make fairy houses in the woods.

The Waterfront Cottage sits directly on the shores of Snow Pond, 15 minutes from Colby College and downtown Waterville and 1/2 mile from the Snow Pond Center for the Arts. Enjoy the BEST sunset views from the private dock and listen to the waves and loons at night. The private front deck is the perfect spot for a sunset cocktail after a day of swimming and kayaking from the sandy beach. You also have a private outdoor hot soaking tub and water view barrel sauna. Paradise!

This newly renovated cabin features a screen porch with views of the sunset over the pond. Horseshoe Pond is perfect for swimming or a quiet paddle. Kayaks available. Loons and bald eagles frequently visit the pond. PLEASE NOTE: Half mile access road is in poor condition - need 4 wheel drive vehicle or vehicle with high clearance. ALSO: No wifi is currently available in the cabin. It is available on our neighboring property for short-term use.
