Linnaea Gardens Guest House Unit #4

This charming, 5 acre property is nestled in the hills surrounding Tennessee’s oldest town, Jonesborough. There are many cozy seating areas, pastoral settings and night-lit spots. You’ll feel right at home. The beautiful 10’ x 30’ wooden porch, overlooks a shaded garden area that could comfortably entertain 30 to 40 people. Ring the cast-iron bell announcing your ”dinner on the grounds”, open gifts on the picnic table under the filbert trees or play in the Kid Land sandbox with your favorite toys. Swing on the rope swing, play basketball on the court, pitch some horseshoes. Badminton, softball, soccer and croquet are all possible in the lower field. Stuff yourself on mouth-watering blueberries, in season. Nap on the hammock or wade in our stream. Weather permitting, “roast” to a true, old-fashioned, roaring bonfire (additional fee), or enjoy the campfire at the Guest House for a late-night intimate encounter. Country comfort, close to everything - this is a truly lovely place for a reunion, shower, business meeting, birthday party, retreat or spiritual renewal. Accommodations at Linnaea Gardens Each bedroom in the four unit Guest House is uniquely appointed with a combination of vintage and contemporary furnishings. The following features are common to all rooms: •Private entrances •Self serve continental breakfast is available for additional fee •Buttery and ivory-toned walls with accents of gold and sage •Red plank floors with inviting area rugs •FREE wireless internet access •82 channel cable television, and alarm clock •Microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator •Full bathroom with pedestal sink, shower head with hose, drying line •Crisp linens and plush towels •Scented drawer liners •Individual comfort control of air conditioners and warm glo gas heaters or milk house electric heaters •Flexible check-in and check-out •Air mattress and Pak-N-Play available Camping: While camping is not our focus, we do have two locations with the following features. Fortunately the long range panoramic views Helene' opened were worth the effort it took to clear the downed trees from the miles of hiking trails. The untouched mountain provides an interesting before and after contrast to the power of Mother Nature, along with the amazing pace of her recovery. In many ways our woods are prettier than ever.
