The Henhouse

The Henhouse is like a tiny resort. Tiny cabin amongst the giant redwoods. one acre of Deep forest, quiet, Hot tub tucked into the forest, Koi pond, water sounds, romantic and cozy yet so very private. The Apartment is small, so cozy and cute, 300 sq ft, low ceilings, 6 ft 1”. surrounded by 300 square foot decking. Open pattern bedroom, kitchen with additional small bedroom. Russian River is a short drive, 30 min walk or hike down the hill. Two level cabin with manager in upstairs cabin.

Beautiful river front home with wonderful riverstone fireplace, historic charm, majestic redwoods, updated master suite with hot tub, kayaks, canoe and stand up paddleboards on private grounds in private location in Monte Rio, California on Russian River. The dock & steps to the river, as with most homes on the river, are available subject to river flow. This usually requires they be removed in October - April/early May, when flow increases. We can’t do a check-in/out on Thanksgiving or Christmas day.

Giant Redwood Guesthouse

Private cozy guest unit nestled under towering Giant Redwood and Fir trees, the Sonoma coast is 20 minutes to the west and world class wineries and microbreweries start 5 minutes to the east. Enjoy the Redwood deck with dedicated guest area, bbq fireplace, and hot tub. The hosts Jason and Kim were superhosts until Covid stopped all short term rentals last year, we are just opening back up for guests in July 2021.
