Come and enjoy a rare chance for silence and stillness. This family retreat is a source of great relaxation for our family and we encourage folk to come and embrace the lack of wifi or television. There are books, day walks, a nearby cycle track and the stunning surrounds of the Kaikoura mountains. A 10 minute drive to Kaikoura. An outdoor bath provides views of the night sky and mountains. Black Mountain is nestled in the foothills of the Kaikōura Seaward Ranges, 6 km north of Kaikōura township. Designed for short and longer stays, the home is private, peaceful, and set in a beautiful rural landscape.
