The Thunderbird Tiny House

The Thunderbird tiny house is located on the Thunderbird Ranch about 13 miles west of Mountainair, New Mexico. We are surrounded by the Cibola National Forest on all four sides. The property is owned by the Wester's and has been in their family for almost a hundred years. We also have other vacation homes for rent so if you want to bring another family we can accommodate that. Tranquil, cozy Tiny House sets in the Manzano mtn. nestled in ponderosa and junipers, just 18 minutes from Alb. NM. Nearby trails for biking, hiking, x country skiing or horse back riding. Close by: Sandia Ski area, Sandia Tram, Balloon Fiesta, Aquarium-Zoo, Museums, Tinkertown, McCall's Pumpkin Farm. Towns nearby: North - Placitas, Bernalillo, Santa fe and Madrid. Country Getaway South of Albuquerque

Quiet country retreat 35 minutes south of Albuquerque. This guest suite offers ample parking, a private patio and private entrance from the patio. Bedroom, kitchenette and large en suite bathroom are all included in the space. Kitchenette includes a refrigerator, microwave, electric burner and basic cookware and dining ware. Cooking Oil, salt/pepper tea and coffee are provided. Bedroom has a queen-size bed and cozy fireplace. The owner lives on premises and is available to help with any needs.

Adobe Casita Behind Balloon Fiesta- Pet Friendly

This adobe casita is a special place – washed in sunlight, quiet and tucked into a half acre with grass, trees, flowers, rabbits and birds. Located right behind the Balloon Fiesta grounds and is just a few minutes drive, it is only 15-20 minutes from downtown Albuquerque and about 50 minutes from Santa Fe. Plenty of outdoor space in which to relax and soak up the sun. And great Wifi for remote work. The casita sits on the same lot as a larger house that is occupied by a long-term tenant.

Private Casita at the Desert River Farm

We are located on a 2.75 acre homestead property just south of Albuquerque in a small agricultural community. It is a perfect retreat space for those looking to get away but stay close to amenities. We live in an 1890 adobe home that shares the property with the casita and we have quiet and friendly neighbors. We have a handful of fruit trees, a hoop house where we are growing vegetables, and a wild 1 acre field. The property is fully fenced with private parking right outside the casita.

This area is also home to migratory birds like the Sandhill Cranes who can be seen and heard flying in formation at dawn and dusk from Nov to March.

Relax, unwind, and unplug with a beautiful view of the Manzano Mountains in our cozy cabin. Mountainair was known as the “Pinto Bean Capital of the World” in its heyday and our land was used for dry-land bean farming. Remnants of homesteaders can still be found on the property. We now enjoy this beautiful location to raise Scottish Highland Cattle and can’t wait to share it with you! Our cabin will fit 2 adults plus a child comfortably with a queen bed and twin sofa bed.

This recently constructed mountain cabin is located on private land deep in the Cibola National Forest and 13 miles north west of Mountainair. It is off grid with a modern solar system. This two story house has a large screened porch with a view of a wildlife watering pond so bring your camera! This unque house is very quite and secluded. If your a hiker your in luck. the Manzanos mountains have many beautiful hiking trails.
