Situated on the Eastern side of Lagoa Uembje, Shongili Lodge is reached by an 8 minute boat ride over clear, clean waters from the Mozambique town of Biléne. Or for the adventurous drivers, an hour and a half scenic 4x4 or 2x4 drive from the same town. The lodge is run completely on solar power with water sourced from a well on the grounds, This may mean a little less appliances, but also an abundance of quiet reflection.

Enjoy Bilene beach with your family. You'll have a great time in this calm, coloured, comfortable & modern house. Sleep & wake up to the sounds of waves and bird songs. Enjoy the beach & plenty of activities available. Have a pleasant lagon, mountains & sea view from the balcony. This type 2 house is fully furnished & equipped, including air conditioning in all compartments, bed linen, towels, sofas, TV, refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, kitchen utensils. 2 bedroom self-catering chalet at Nhambavale Lodge

Our two bedroom units comprise of two spacious bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen and seating area. Two beds can be added to this unit to accommodate a family of up to 6. Situated close to the lake, the views are breathtaking especially during sunset. The lodge restaurant and bar are 200m away with amazing food and cold beer, overlooking the vast Lake Nhambavale. A vehicle with high clearance is required to reach Nhambavale Lodge, 4x4 is preferable.

Family Cabin 2 or 3 or 4 or 5

Sleeps 2 to 4 people: Open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. One bedroom equipped with a Double Bed. Shower, basin and toilet. 2 Single Beds in the lounge area. It is mostly a Sand\Beach Road. To get to the Resort it is important to Note that a Sedan or Low Ground Clearance Vehicle is not suitable. You would need an High Road Clearance Vehicle, SUV, Bakkie, 4X4 or 2X4.
