Curtis is less than 5 miles. Perfectly nested in a beautiful country setting with pull in driveway with a large area for parking. Plenty of FREE firewood for the firepit for relaxing around a fire in the evening under the stars. Maple Leaf is centrally located 1 hour or less to U.P. attractions. South Manistique Lake which is 2 miles north of cottage. You can access the trails from the south of cottage 300 feet on a scenic trail in the woods about 2 miles turn left or right to find the trails.

The adventure starts with the trip to Crisp Point Beach which is located 18 miles from route 123 driven on gravel and sand roads towards Crisp Point Lighthouse. The road goes through some of the most undeveloped land in the Eastern States. This off-grid cabin provides a wonderful experience of nature due to its remote location. It is filled all the amenities you need to enjoy beach life on Lake Superior.

Tahquamenon falls, whitefish point lighthouse and shipwreck museum, pictured rocks, Kitch-iti-kipi (the big spring, Oswald's bear ranch, sault Sainte Marie, Mackinac Island. or many other things along the shoreline or The UP has to adventure.
