Named after our 5-pound Pomeranian, Rooster who lives upstairs, our property is pet friendly with plenty of space to walk and enjoy the outdoors. There’s a small creek which runs along the property. West Jefferson, Boone, Moravian Falls and many ski areas are within close proximity as well! Please come enjoy this oasis in the foothills!

Watch wildlife from your private rear deck, sit on covered front porch, or stroll the 2.6 acres of grounds. Adjacent to greenspace/parkland. Dogs allowed! (limit 2) Pet fee charged.

Enjoy porch sitting on a large porch overlooking a branch and just a few steps away from a small pond. Access to trails through the woods. 2 Twin Beds in loft . Futon/Double bed. No indoor plumbing but water spigot next to cabin. "Outhouse " with toilet, Sink and Shower with hot water. Crock Pot, Toaster oven, Skillet and Griddle, Coffee Maker, Propane Grill outside.

Spend the afternoon rocking on the porch (you might be joined by the resident kitty cats!) and the evening roasting marshmallows at the fire pit for s’mores! You're only 25 miles from Boone and the High Country and just moments from local shopping, attractions, and restaurants at this residence! There are also two TVs for your enjoyment.

Make some memories at this rustic, hand built log cabin. This cabin was built using reclaimed pine logs from local tobacco barns. Both bedrooms are located in an OPEN LOFT upstairs. Privacy curtains are installed but do not block out noise The cabin is full of amenities including washer/dryer, hot tub, antique clawfoot tub with shower, full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, large back deck, game area with foosball table, and beautiful views of the little Brushy’s.
