Located against the backdrop of a typical Bengali countryside, overlooking the Tiger Reserve on the banks of river Vidyadhari and Herobhanga, the Earthen Retreat Sundarbans offers accommodation in ethnic mud houses made in the rustic style of architecture with locally sourced materials. This laid-back retreat offers an unique chance to experience indigenous farm to table cuisine, learn about the locals and their culture and experience the wildlife of the Sundarbans in all its colourful splendor.

With the Air Dwelling, we have taken our first flight off the ground on natural buildings. Conceptualised as a dwelling that is floating in the air, it is projected out amongst the trees. Travel down a nostalgic memory lane & reminisce the times spent on your grandparent’s secret attic. This hut has a mezzanine floor with stairs that invite children to climb up & cook up a new adventure in the forest or for loving couples to just lay back, stare at the floating clouds and the glittering stars.

Tieedi Air Dwelling is our humble endeavor to work with Mother Nature to handcraft a dwelling that embraces our forest. The dwelling has been built using local, renewable resources and working with the local and international artists. It gets its name from the fact that it is projected above the ground using cantilevers. Yup! this time we take up amidst the verdant trees of our forest. This room has a balcony that opens up to the trees.

The Other Side, an Art Retreat

Embark on a unique artistic journey at "The Other Side," an art retreat hosted by Sangay,a potter and Karma,an artist. We run a multidisciplinary art studio where we practice pottery, handmade organic lights and beyond. Our haven caters not only to art enthusiasts but also beckons nature lovers, adventurers, and soul seekers alike.

Our Cottages are built in the heart of the village in traditional Lepcha style, giving you a wholesome community living experience. The entire cottage is made from bamboo and mud which gives an earthy cool feel the moment you enter. The rooms are airy, with a thatched roof, and great views too!

Dodo - Cozy Mountain Cottage at Auks Farm

Dodo, named after the extinct bird is an exclusive cottage built with indigenous materials namely, mud stone and bamboo. It has been the guest’s favourite den till date. It accommodates upto 4 people. It’s cozy with an attached spacious bathroom.
