The “Beach House” is a guest cottage at Snug Harbor, a 2 acre private property overlooking the Rappahannock River and Chesapeake Bay. Perfect for a couple’s getaway, this well-appointed cottage has beautiful water views and includes access to our private beach & dock (with guest slip) with use of our paddle boards and kayaks. The cottage’s 1st floor features an open liv/din/kit area, full bath with large shower and a covered patio. The 2nd floor features a large loft bedroom with a queen bed.

Little Cove Cottage: a charming studio in Mathews County with private entrance. Mathews is a rural town with several beautiful beaches close by and many areas to access the water. You'll be within biking distance to many local attractions such as Williamsburg Winery, Jamestown Island, Jamestown Settlement, Jamestown Beach, and Billsburg Brewery. Come visit this quiet and peaceful setting on the Ware River in historic Gloucester VA. The cottage sits on a 65 acre waterfront property. This fully updated cozy cottage is a great home base for exploring Williamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown and Richmond. Pets are welcome with a small fee and pre-approval. There are serval buildings and gardens to enjoy so please take note of the picture captions for details on the cottage and other dependencies.

Paddler's Rest

The Paddler's Rest is a relaxing guest house on Kings Creek in Mathews County with direct access to the water and a private porch. Very secluded but close to town for restaurants etc. Guests have free use of a canoe and 2 kayaks. Great area for biking--all roads lead to the water and Mathews County is perfectly flat! Self check- in.

"The Little Red Cabin" aka The Galley

Called the "The Galley". This is the first cabin built on the property. Right on the water with views of the Bay and beach. Galley kitchen, bedroom, small bathroom with shower, family room with a fireplace and dining area. Big screened in porch w/ fabulous breezes. Literally, right on the water!!! NO PETS. Parking for 1 car.

Charming Yorktown Battlefield Cottage

Kick back and relax after a day of touring the historic triangle. This space was originally built as an artists studio for renowned folk artist Nancy Thomas. The amount of natural light is wonderful and there are still some paint remnants from its former days as an artists studio adding to its unique character and history.
