Historical White Pass Ticket Booth Packwood

This is the original White Pass Ski Resort ticket booth, then lifty shack, and finally wax room, built in the 1950's, when White Pass first opened. It became somewhat run down and put out of service, but was rescued by a Packwoodian with vision. It was hauled down from White Pass on a flatbed truck, where it was given a new metal roof, insulation, rough-hewn cedar and corrugated metal interior walls. With log bunkbeds, rocking chairs, cozy blankets, it's a snug abode for skiers and hikers!

Bigfoot Crossing

Custom built in 2020 by host with lots of handmade wood accents for that mountain feeling. Come to hike, fish, ski or just relax. Twenty minutes to the Stevens Canyon entrance to Mt. Rainier and twenty-five minutes White Pass Ski area. The quaint little town of Packwood is just 5 minutes away with restaurants, grocery and a brewery. The cabin is nestled in the woods at the end of a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood and fast cable Wi-Fi. Walk to Skate Creek. Short hike to Skate Creek Park.

Modern cabin at the peaceful end of a rural road along with its sister cabin, it features private access to Johnson Creek with the views of Mount Rainier, two bathrooms, a large washer and gas dryer, a hot tub, and a covered outdoor area with propane heating, fire pit and grill. Cozy up and close the curtains and nestle into the down comforter, linen duvet and luxury cotton sheets. Aesop bath products and soft robes add to the luxury.
