Farm Cottage for a escape to the country

New barn conversion. I have tried to maintain the character. The decor is Agri/industrial, reusing as much of the raw materials around the farm. It has three king-size beds all on-suite. 1 x Very large bedroom upstairs with sofa and balcony and 2 smaller ground floor bedrooms. Each room has a TV and wifi. The main living room includes a kitchen, a table, a large L-shaped sofa and coffee table: an outdoor table and chairs, BBQ and a covered area for storing bikes and a EV Charger (50p/kw) etc.

Situated on a small working farm eight miles from Junction 49 at the western end of the M4. Enjoy the seclusion of the farm and walking opportunities in the area as well as the local attractions in East Carmarthenshire of castles, stately homes, gardens, local villages and towns. Further afield are the beaches and beauty spots of Swansea, the Gower and Pembrokeshire.

The ideal retreat for couples, business, single commuters and great for cyclists. BBQ hut for use in all weathers. A short walk to Llandeilo town, via road or country path.

The Cowshed

Located at the foot of the Brecon Beacons, this well positioned property offers a large, spacious, modern kitchen and breakfast bar with original wooden beams and high ceilings. The kitchen carries through to an open planned dining/living room area equipped with a large flat screen TV and cosy log burner perfect for socialising and chilling out with loved ones. If you want the sound of birdsong and farm animals and a completely rural experience, drive up the mountain road and join us at our smallholding where we have an abundance of wildlife. We have spent the past few years lovingly restoring the stonework, oak floors and beams, fitting a modern kitchen with reclaimed worktops and a shower room with handmade wooden unit. Private patio with your own access to the property and a lake to walk around, although wellies may be needed sometimes!

1 Cathelyd Colliery Stables

No 1 Cathelyd Colliery Stables is a dog friendly property renovated from a pit pony stables. Next door, No 2 is slightly larger and can be booked separately on Airbnb. There are walks on the doorstep being next to the Cwm Clydach bird reserve and the cottage has its own private valley walk with a waterfall. We are situated 3 miles from J45 of the M4 with easy access to Swansea, Gower and the Brecon Beacons. The Swansea Cycle path is on the doorstep. The town is a mile away.

The photo shown is the main house. Self catering accommodation. Guests will stay in the refurbished coach house in the grounds of the main house in the village of Glanamman. Open plan living area downstairs, fitted kitchen with oven, microwave, slow cooker and cooking utensils. Shower room and toilet, hot &cold running water. Double bedroom with double bed, second bedroom with adult bunk beds. Balcony accessed through main bedroom giving views of the Amman Valley.
